Урок англійської мови на тему "Професії" ( 6-Б клас)

Хід уроку:
I.                   Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.
1.1. Привітання Greeting
Good morning, boys and girls! I`m glad to see you! How are you today? Is anybody absent? Are you ready for the lesson? I hope that you are fine today. The motto of our lesson is “ Sunny thoughts make the whole day brighter”.
What topic did we learn at the previous lessons? (about jobs) Today we are going to summarize everything we have learnt about this topic: professions, necessary qualities and ability to tell about a chosen profession. Have a look at the blackboard. We also shall speak about different professions, talk about your parents` professions, work in pairs asking & answering the questions, read texts dealing with jobs, act out dialogues, sing a song & watch a cartoon. We will play games and do some tasks. And at the end of our lesson we will see who knows about the topic more.

Now answer my questions: Can a language teacher come to see you when it hurts?   Turn to each other(turn face to face)and ask your partner the similar question. You should start with CAN. Answers are on the blackboard (Yes, she can. No, he can`t.)

 Your home task was to prepare dialogues according to a chosen topic. Let’s check it.
 Dialogue 1. „ In a shoe shop“
 Salesperson : Can  I  help you?
Alice: I am looking for a pair of shoes.
S.: What kind of shoes would you like?
A.: The red ones. May I try that pair on, please?
S.: Sure.
A.:  How much are they?
S. Three pounds.
A.: All right. I’ll take them. (gives money) . Here you are. Thank you.
S.: Thank you. Bye!
A.: Bye!

Dialogue 2. „A visit to the doctor“
D.: Are you OK?
P. Oh, no. I’ve cut my hand.
D.: How did it happen?
P.: I was making breakfast and cut my hand. It’s awful.
D: You shouldn’t worry. You should use a plaster. It will help. I hope you will get better soon.

It`s very interesting to know about your fathers and mothers. Use card 3 and tell us about the members of your families.
        There are many professions in the world. But everyone has favourite profession. Answer the questions:
What profession do you like?
What do you want to be?
What is your mother? / father?
7.1. Гра “Guess my future profession”.(Робота в парах, учні повинні здогадатися майбутню професію свого співрозмовника)  Now work in pairs and guess the future profession of your classmate. Put  such questions Are you going to be a doctor? Do you want to be a driver? (За опорою на дошці: I want to be a … because…  I want to be a designer. It’s my dream. Designers should be creative.
I want to be a doctor, because doctors help people .Doctors should be kind and loving.
I want to be a driver, because I like to travel. Drivers should be careful.
7.2. Монологічні висловлювання учнів про свою майбутню професію Now, children, I want you to tell me about your future profession. All the rest must listen to the classmates and say whose dream will come true and explain why.
